2025 Results and Impact

In 2025, Hand2Heart continued to expand its impact across the region, working with 147 justice-impacted individuals seeking to build stable, meaningful lives after incarceration. Through structured programming focused on leadership, life skills, mentorship, and workforce readiness, participants developed the tools needed to move forward with confidence and purpose. Every participant engaged in leadership and life-skills programming and received mentorship support, reinforcing Hand2Heart’s commitment to walking alongside individuals throughout the reentry process.

These supports translated into real outcomes. More than half of participants (52.8%) were placed in education or employment, and 49% entered workforce training programs that position them for long-term career growth. With six employer partnerships helping to create pathways to opportunity, participants were able to access meaningful work and skill-building experiences. Most importantly, the program maintained a 4% rate of further justice involvement, demonstrating the effectiveness of community-based support, mentorship, and second-chance employment opportunities in helping individuals build stable futures.
